Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer for Media Organisation
Digital Future embarked on a strategic mission to fill a pivotal executive role within one of our esteemed clients—a media organisation poised for exponential growth. Our objective was to secure a visionary Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer (CRMO) capable of spearheading revenue generation initiatives, scaling sales operations, and driving market expansion to propel the company's ascent to greater heights.
Digital Future's approach to the search primarily involved assembling a target company list in the relevant sectors. We focused on both streaming companies like Netflix, DAZN and Sky Germany as well as fitness companies like McFit or Urban Sports Club. We were looking for professionals with 4-5 years of experience with the potential to progress to CRMO and a strong interest in sports. Our focus extended to candidates with a background in the streaming landscape and subscription-based business models who are adept at forging new partnerships in the media landscape. In addition, we emphasized a proven track record of driving success within revenue and marketing departments. The position joins a management team that has now grown to four members.
Just a few weeks after initiating the search, we presented a candidate map comprising 17 top-tier candidates. Despite market turbulence and intense competition for exceptional talent, the company interviewed eight candidates, ultimately selecting three for the final round. Digital Future's commitment to understanding the client's unique requirements was instrumental in working with the organisation to successfully complete the project within a reasonable timeframe.
